Craft Auction: It's Crunch Time!

The craft auction is ending in 11 days!!! My posts about it have been kind of scattered, so hopefully this will be a little more polished!

Here is the run down...Each item that is up for auction has it's own post, please comment on THAT POST to bid on THAT ITEM....All posts will be linked in this blog post to keep it from being a total hot mess! HAHA

We have over $200 in bids right now which is AMAZING! Please, if you win items, pay for them either through our chip in button over there ~~~~>

all proceeds from this auction will go to pay for our visas, the final piece of the puzzle needed before we can travel! Of course we have to submit tons-o-paperwork yet, but financially, we will be COVERED for the first trip if we can raise $600!

How amazing, to go from needing over TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS...to needing $600! We're praying for a miracle, that somehow, someway, that $600 comes to us by the 22nd of March...our sweet girls 3rd birthday. Will you please bid, donate, or pray with us? Miracles still happen...we see them everyday :)

Flea market!

Im laying in my bed with both boys because they have tummy aches. We're watching Animal Planet and they're both drifting off to sleep...and I just remembered I didn't write a blog post about our flea market!

It went surprisingly well, we made $626 and had so much fun! I'm so grateful to my new friend Melina for all the help she offered, and for the extremely cool items she donated! I also owe big thank yous to Alison and Amber...two people who I'm blessed to have as friends....they are amazing and are always the first people to offer help. Also, thank you so much Crystal for your awesome crafty donations, those flip flops were a HIT! Thank you guys so much!

A special thank you to my Dylan, who stayed busy all weekend handing out flyers and telling everyone about his sister. :)

I took lots of pictures, but my hard drive crashed so i lost most of them, but we totally had a blast! The crafts were a hit, and we're heading back next month to try our luck again!! I'll post my phone pics from last weekend at the bottom of the post :)

URGENT: Please Help the Greeson Family!

I need to ask for a huge favor. But first, I need to introduce you to someone.

Meet Mila:

Mila is due to come home, yes COME HOME to her family on March 20th....and her family needs to raise $10,000 to make that happen.

Now, this family was *fully funded* up until the ordeal they went through on their last journey to Mila's country where they nearly lost her because a judge wanted them to include the fact that they own cows and chickens in their homestudy, etc etc...(seriously...I couldn't even MAKE UP some of the ridiculous things they had to endure)...so the added time in country, expense of switching flights, etc...they're tapped now. They need US to rally and get their daughter home. We can't let them down, but most importantly we can't let Mila down. We are commanded to care for the orphans of this world, here is your chance. If you can spare $10, or $20, or more to ensure that this sweet girl's parents board a plane in a few short weeks and bring her home and far away from the the orphanage she's spent her life in, I would consider it a personal favor, and you will be more than welcome to call that favor in anytime.

Please, help Mila come home.

Daddy's Corner - Workin' the monies :)

Hi Natasha, It's Daddy!!!

Oh baby doll, have I got a lot to catch you up on!!! Your mommy and daddy along with your brothers and alot of your new friends and relatives have been working hard to bring you home even sooner.  We have been out talking to a lot of businesses about you and some of them have been kind enough to donate various items to help bring you home.  We are going to be having an event in just 2 short months that is hopefully going to raise a lot of money that is going to be used towards bringing you home and getting you that heart surgery you need.  The doctors tell us that once you have that surgery, you are going to be running around here and having loads of fun!!! I know that Jack can't wait to have his big sister team up with him to play with your big brother Dylan.
This last weekend mommy, daddy, Dylan and some good friends and family worked hard at a flea market.  No silly, a flea market is not where they sell fleas..lol.  A flea market is where a bunch of people get together at one place and sell different things.  From purses to flavored butter...from odds and ends to sports memorabilia.  What we sold were a bunch of hair bows that mommy made and a lot of other things that so many people donated for us to sell.  You see, there are so many people out there that love you just as much as we do!!!.  The hair bowsn that mommy made are incredible. She made some small ones, some medium size ones and some large ones.  Some had buttons on them while others had bottle caps on them. They are really cute.  Don't worry baby doll...mommy has got plenty of hair bows set aside for you to wear. :)  The flea market was awesome.  A lot of people came by to show their support and purchase some items.  Dylan went walking around and he was telling people about you and had them come to see us over at our table.  He was so cute doing it too!!! He is going to be an awesome big brother to you.
The other day, I was getting ready to head out to try to find more companies to donate items for your fundraiser that's coming up.  Jack saw me getting dressed and said "Daddy wok the monies?"  He is so adorable. Whenever he sees me in my uniform, he knows that daddy is going to work and is making money for the family.  So whenever he sees that, he always says "Daddy wok the monies". So this time, I said to him..."Yep Jack, daddy is workin' the monies....but this time it's for Tasha".  You should have seen his eyes light up.  Whenever he hears your name, he always repeats it and smiles from ear to ear.  He loves you so much...as all of us do.  I know that the weather is starting to warm up a little bit by you darling but please make sure you still dress warmly.  It's still cold out, even if it is a little warmer.  We are hoping that we will be coming to see your beautiful smiling face soon Natasha.  We are praying hard each and every day for that to happen soon.  Until then though, as I always say.  When you are thinking of us, keep looking to the moon and the stars and know that we are back here doing the same thing when we think about you.  I love you Natasha and will be seeing you soon. Good Morning World!

Hi everyone!! I just wanted to pop on and give a little update! Life is peachy and the adoption is plugging right along! We got our homestudy back, sent in the edits, and we're waiting for the final, notarized, apostilled copies to go with our dossier and to USCIS! We have 15 documents apostilled and ready to go, we're $400 short but we could have been $2600 short so I'm not going to fuss over $400! We are SO READY to go hug and kiss and love on our girl! <3

So life is great! Whoo hoo! lol
