I need to take a minute to say thank you. Thank you to everyone who has donated to Natasha's fund, you are doing something so, so big...you don't even know how HUGE of a deal it is. You are quite literally saving a life, right now, 6000 mil...es away, there is a little girl who is one step closer, one dollar closer, to a life outside of an orphanage. She's closer to the hope of a future, a chance to live to her fullest potential..she's closer to medical care that she so desperately needs, and she's all these things because of YOU. Every auction you start in her name, every wristband you buy or donation you make, every time you "share" her blog on your facebook page or twitter...you're actively changing, and saving, my daughters life. I will forever be in your debt for everything you have done, and are doing...thank you from the bottom of my heart. ♥

It's a Big Day :)

So because my little man is sick today, I won't be able to make the rounds of tv and radio interviews that were set up, so my sweet husband is going to fill in for me! He has a radio interview this morning, and a tv interview this afternoon. Hopefully that will bring a few more people out to our Maggie Moo's scoop night!!

I'm going to spend much of my day going through items, taking pictures, and sending them to a friend who has volunteered to run a sort of auction blog for us. Hopefully we'll make some sales!! :)

A dream come true, a prayer answered

I have been so worried about funding this adoption. Yesterday was the lowest point I've reached yet, all I could do was turn it over to God and ask Him for any kind of sign that I'm doing the right thing. This morning a new, yet already dear, friend sends me a like to Adeye's blog, www.nogreaterjoymom.com where she has opened her blog (and her heart) to 20 adoption blogs. My baby girl made the cut! Thank you God for showing me that you're in charge, that you've got this, that you're protecting my Natasha always. I'm so excited to see how God uses this opportunity!!! Please check out the blog!! Getting excited!!!

One week from today is our Maggie Moo's scoop night!!! My son helped make this cool display so people could understand why we're there. :)

Daddy's Corner...Tasha's night night song

Hi Natasha, It's Daddy!!!  So this week I was sick a lot but now I'm feeling a lot better.  The good thing about being sick was that it allowed me to listen to the radio a little more than I normally would.  When your brother Dylan was younger I used to tuck him into bed every night and make up different stories for him until he fell asleep.  When mommy was pregnant with your brother Jack, I would sing a song to him and I still do that even now when I tuck him into bed.  I haven't had that chance to do that with you yet, my beautiful daughter, but I heard this beautiful song this week from a talented singer named Christina Perri.  I fell in love with the words and I immediately started thinking of you when I heard it.  I'm going to copy the lyrics here for you tonight, Natasha, and when we get together we can listen to it and one day sing it together.  I'm sure you will sing much better than I can.  Before I post the lyrics, just remember what I always tell you...keep looking at the moon and the stars and know that when you are doing it...I am too.  I love you babydoll and can't wait to be with you.  Here's the lyrics...
