I'm a married mother of "3 1/2" ;) and the loves of my life are my faith and my family. I've grown in my faith over the last two years since my daughter's adoption, she is the reason why I started this blog in the first place, and I'm so looking forward to watching God move in my heart, and the hearts of others who follow along on our journey towards bringing home one of "the least of these". Special needs adoption is my mission field, whether I'm adopting a child myself, or helping other families get funded, or shouting for waiting children who need families to find them, and I hope you'll come along for the ride and watch what God can accomplish when we say yes to His command to care for the orphan, and go out into the world to be His hands and feet.

Thank you just isn't enough

I can't even begin to describe how grateful we are to everyone who has helped us on this journey to bring Natasha home. Whether you've bought a wristband, or made a donation, or said a prayer or shared Natasha's journey on your Facebook page or blog....we appreciate all of it. We are blown away by the generosity of our friends (and strangers!) and we feel so blessed to have each and every one of you in our lives.

To date I have mailed wristbands to FOURTEEN states, people in 3 different states have requested additional wristbands so they can fundraise locally, people have volunteered to help sell candy, people have volunteered to scoop ice cream at our Maggie Moo's fundraiser, people have volunteered to hand out flyers...it has just been an AWESOME show of support fir us, and more importantly fir Natasha. When I think about her sitting in her little crib in her orphanage, in a country where she fits in no where all because of an extra chromosome...it's hard to image here in America, 6000 miles away from where she is, there are people who have never seen her, never heard her babble, and many of them many not EVER see her or hold her, yet they still love her, and care about her, and pray for her...she's a very lucky little girl to have so many people in her corner.

Thank you again for everything you've done, for keeping our spirits up, for offering your support...we couldn't do this alone. If there is anything we can do for YOU...please, let us know!!

Much love,
Dave and Cilla
